Do you have a lot of old wooden pallets just sitting around in your backyard? Maybe you do not have them with you, but you know where you can get a lot of them. Either way, if you have always wondered just what it is that you can do with all of those pallets, you have come to the right place. Take a moment to reflect on the following things that can be done to put those pallets to good use once again.

Wood Fence

If you have always wanted a tiny wooden fence surrounding the outside of your property, you can make use of the old pallets. You are going to have to manually dismantle all of the planks of wood and separate the good from the bad pieces. However, the effort put into the salvaging of the wood will be more than worth it. Not only are you saving a few trees, but you are surely saving yourself a good bit of money when compared to the amount you would spend to purchase a wooden fence brand new.

Photo Frames

All you have to do is to make sure that you are securing the corners of your photo frame with small finishing nails or industrial strength wood glue. Once the frame is put together, you can secure a piece of cardboard or thin piece of wood behind it. Then you can add your favorite picture or pictures by adhering them directly to the wood or by using photo corners that allow you to pop various photos in and out of the frame.

Gardening Stakes

Do you like to plant a garden every year and plant a wide variety of items? If so, you have surely run into a time or two where it might have been difficult to tell a few plants from each other. This is where the old wood pallets come in handy. You can break off planks of wood from the pallet and cit it down to your desired size for a gardening stake. You will want to keep it big enough so that you will be able to see what is written on it, without making it too much of an eye sore. Do make sure that the one end is cut into a point so that it will easily stick into the ground.

As you can see, there are plenty of things that you are going to be able to do with some old wooden pallets from places like Certified Handling Systems.
